The Charleston Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society needed an update to their current website. The current site was built in the late 90's and had not been updated in years. The first pahse of the update was to create a new look and navigation system for the site. A javascript design was selected with full screen images of the Best Friend of Charleston used in the background. The new design gives a very modern and updated look to the site. Because of the vast amount of data and pictures on the old site, back pages will be converted over time. A new javascript gallery for photos has been implemented in the first phase. All of these technologies have been incorporated into the new site designed by Thomas & Thomas Design.

CCNRHS is located in Charleston, South Carolina and promotes the history of the Best Friend of Charleston. The Best Friend was the regularly scheduled train to operate in the United States. The train made its inaugural run on Christmas Day 1830.
